UH-Victoria will offer classes at HCC Northwest College Katy Campus

GraduationBeginning this fall, the University of Houston – Victoria will be offering classes at Houston Community College Katy. This partnership will allow local area residents to pursue higher level education without having to relocate and being in a surrounding that is familiar to them. UHV has 11 new late afternoon and evening classes available, in 8 fields of study that can get current HCCK students started on their 4 year degree. There will also be one graduate level class offered.

“I am very pleased that we are extending our partnership with the University of Houston System to include afternoon and evening courses at the Katy campus for our constituents,” said Zachary Hodges, HCC Northwest President. “Clear alignment of our two programs, plus a local pathway to four-year degrees, will fuel the economic growth of the Katy area.”

UHV already provides higher level courses at the University of Houston System – Cinco Ranch, but branching out to community college campuses extends the UHV reach and helps making degrees more accessible to residents.
